Does Galaxia or Chaos relate anyway to mythology? Well, besides Galaxia being Greek for "Made by Milk," I don't know how else it relates to ancient mythology. Another other information would be appreciated.

Chaos, on the other hand, was in Greek Mythology. In one ancient Greek myth of creation, it is the dark, silent abyss from which all things came into existence. According to the Theogony of Hesiod, Chaos generated the solid mass of Earth, from which arose the starry, cloud-filled Heaven. Mother Earth and Father Heaven, personified respectively as Gaea and her offspring Uranus, were the parents of the Titans. In a later theory, Chaos is the formless matter from which the cosmos, or harmonious order, was created.

Interesting seeing that in the manga, Chaos controlled the Galaxy Cauldron - the birthplace of all Sailor Soldiers. In both the anime and manga, Chaos was formless matter of energy... evil... and almost unstoppable....

Another excerpt states:

In the manga Chaos declared herself a "mother" to Galaxia, so this could be where Naoko got it from. She obviously did more research than I have time to do.
